Learn the process of turning a bag of raw fibre into a ball of yarn. See all the machines and learn about the important role each one plays in the 9 different stages needed in the fibre journey
The tour takes approximately 30 minutes and we're sure you will be as fascinated about the process as we are.
The tour can be custom made to include a meet the alpaca farm tour or fleece preparation and skirting demonstrations.
The tour concludes in our mill shop where you can see knitting yarn, blankets and scarves made here in the Mill from fleece harvested right here from our own alpacas on our farm.

Workshops
Our new purpose built studio overlooking the farm will provide the perfect ambience to let your creative juices flow free.
All workshops include a mill tour, all materials, and morning or afternoon tea.
Introduction to Felting with Gayle $120
This is a 4 hr workshop where participants will learn the art of felting on a flat bed needle felter.
Not only is it amazingly fun to do, you get to make your own scarf or cushion cover from high quality alpaca fibre.
Spinning with Ash $60/2 hours
Enjoy a morning or afternoon learning the art of handspinning. From a complete beginner to learning art yarn techniques, Ash has it covered!! Includes a carded bump.
Crocheting with Ash $60/2 hours
Learn the newly revitalised skill of crocheting with a group of fun, like minded people. Includes ball of Alpaca Allure yarn.
